“Tour de DMZ 2023 국제 청소년 도로사이클대회”에 참가하는 선수단과 동호인 여러분을 진심으로 환영하며, 성공적인 대회 개최를 위해 힘써주신 모든 분의 노고에 깊이 감사드립니다.

올해 제6회를 맞이하는 Tour de DMZ 2023 대회는 세계 유일의 분단국가인 한반도에서 아름다운 자연환경이 잘 보존된 민간인통제지역을 통과하는 국제청소년 도로사이클대회입니다. 특히 올해 대회는 6.25전쟁 정전70주년을 기념하고, 평화로운 미래를 기원하는 의미도 가지고 있습니다.

이런 뜻 깊은 대회가 개최될 수 있도록 노력해주신 이상민 행정안전부장관님, 유정복 인천광역시장님, 김동연 경기도지사님, 김진태 강원도지사님 외 모든 관계자 여러분께 거듭 감사의 인사를 드립니다.

이 대회가 6회까지 개최되기까지에는 많은 분들의 노력이 있었기에 가능했습니다. 이러한 노력들이 헛되지 않게 선수 여러분들께서는 끝까지 포기하지 않는 도전의식과 열정으로 마지막 구간까지 완주하는 모습을 기대 하겠습니다.

대회에 참가하는 선수들과 동호인들이 안전하게 달릴 수 있도록 마지막까지 적극적으로 노력하고 협조해주신 해주신 강화군, 김포시, 파주시, 연천군, 철원군, 화천군, 인제군, 고성군, 양구군 관계자분들께 다시 한번 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 매년 발전하는 모습의 Tour de DMZ 대회가 되길 기원합니다. 감사합니다.

I extend a warm welcome to all riders attending the "Tour de DMZ 2023 International Road Cycling Tour." I express my sincere gratitude to everyone involved for their invaluable efforts in ensuring the success of this event.

Now celebrating its 6th edition, the Tour de DMZ 2023 holds the distinction of being an international road cycling tour passing through the Demilitarized Zone(DMZ), a unique civilian control zone with well-preserved natural surroundings on the divided Korean Peninsula. This year's race carries additional significance as we commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice and aspire for a peaceful future.

I would like to extend my profound appreciation to Minister Lee Sang-min of the Ministry of Administration and Safety, Mayor You Jeong-bok of Incheon Metropolitan City, Governor Kim Dong-yeon of Gyeonggi Province, Governor Kim Jin-tae of Gangwon Province, and all other esteemed stakeholders who have dedicated their efforts to making this event a meaningful reality.

The culmination of this race's success, up to its 6th edition, is a testament to the hard work and dedication of numerous individuals. It is with great anticipation that I look forward to witnessing the riders' unwavering determination and passion, as they endeavor to complete the final stretch without wavering.

I also extend my gratitude to the officials and authorities from Ganghwa County, Gimpo City, Paju City, Yeoncheon County, Cheorwon County, Hwacheon County, Inje County, Goseong County, and Yanggu County for their proactive efforts and cooperation, ensuring the safety of all participants and enthusiasts throughout the event. May the Tour de DMZ continue to progress and evolve with each passing year.
